Instrumentation, data acquisition and real-time transmission for three-phase separators.

Challenge.

The client required a versatile and efficient electronic instrumentation system for their three-phase separators. The system needed to monitor multiple critical operational variables, accurately calculate production rates for each phase, and transmit the results in real-time to prevent interruptions and maximize operational efficiency.

Solution.

We implemented a comprehensive high-precision instrumentation system, equipping the three-phase separators with electronic sensors to measure static pressure, differential pressure, temperature, and flow. These devices were integrated with our DAQ EPR system, designed to acquire, calculate, and transmit production data in real-time, providing the client with continuous and reliable visibility into their operations. This service has been ongoing for 6 years, with continuous measurement alongside the client at various onshore and offshore wells and locations.
