Descriptions:

Project: Instrumentation, acquisition, and real-time data transmission for measuring national water volumes from wells, rivers, and springs.

Challenge: The client required the implementation of an electronic system for precise measurement and data transmission regarding water volumes granted by the Mexican government to private individuals, in compliance with Mexican Standard NMX-AA-179-SCFI-2018. This involved not only the instrumentation for various sources of national water but also ensuring that the collected data was sent in real-time to the repositories of the National Water Commission (CONAGUA) to ensure transparency and control of the resource.

Solution: We developed an electronic engineering system for measuring and transmitting accumulated volumes in accordance with the guidelines established in the standard. High-precision flow meters and pressure sensors were implemented, allowing for the exact quantification of water volumes and ensuring data integrity. Our DAQ EPR system facilitated continuous capture of hydraulic parameters such as flow rate, static and dynamic pressure, and water temperature, optimizing the monitoring of various sources of national water. The information was transmitted in real-time to CONAGUA’s data repositories, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting transparency in the use of water resources. Since the start of the project in 2022, we have supplied and implemented 140 DAQ EPR systems in various wells across Mexican territory.
